10th anniversary dinner near Waikoloa, HI

HI,

We are trying to find a place with a romantic atmosphere and good food for our 10th anniversary dinner. It is on a Monday. I know that some restaurants are closed. We will have a car and do not mind driving for up to 30 min. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

You can try the Coast Grille at the HApuna Prince. Very nice setting-really good food and service. Only about 20 minutes from Waikaloa. Roys, in Waikaloa has really fantastic food, but it is a busy restaurant and probably does not have the romantic atmosphere that you are looking for,

We ate at Merriman%26#39;s last year on our honeymoon to Hawaii. We reallly enjoyed our food there and it was probably only about 20 min. away from the Hilton Waikoloa. It was my first time trying Ahi and it was wonderful!

I somehow missed this thread. The most romantic restaurant on the island is the Pahui%26#39;a at the Four Seasons. Second choice would be the Hale Samoa at the Kona Village. Check out konaforum.com for restaurant reviews.
