We%26#39;re going to Waikiki in 8 days, then on to Maui.
I%26#39;ve been looking at the weather forecasts for when we get there, and there seems a lot off rain forecast, is it usually so rainy at this time off year? And does the sun usually shine between showers?
I hadnt thought about taking a jacket or cardy, do you think I should or am I worrying about nothing.

You are probably looking at generic weather reports, like weather.com. It rains just about every day somewhere on every island however each island has a wet side and dry side. Most resorts and hotels are on the dry sides. Even when it does rain on the dry side it typically is just a short frizzle and the rain is not really cold.
You should probably bring a light cover up as it does get cooler at the higher elevations and some evenings.
weather
Does anyone know of a website which gives forecasts for the Waikiki area?
weatherchannel.com
should give you info about honolulu or any city in the world.
