cruising around hawaii

has anyone cruised around Hawaii on NCL or other lines , what is your experience.

We are trying to decide if this is the best way to see it or Island hop by plane

We havent done a cruise around Hawaii (this is probably the only thing we havent done in Hawaii LOL) !!

Pride of Hawaii is I think the newer ship which started sailing in June/July this year.

hi, we have just come back from a cruise on the ';pride of hawaii ';and we loved it. we found it was the best option for us to see all the places we wanted to see. you only have to unpack once and every morning you have a different view out side your balcony. the ship is new and very clean and well run. we loved the freestyle atmosphere. eat when you want do what you want. we also found it easier to rent a car on the islands to get around. did a couple of tours but preferred the hire cars, found ';dollar'; rentals the best. food on board the ship was good and we ate mostly in the buffet. hope this answers some of your questions. and we do intend going back to hawaii one day and would love to do this cruise again.
