We are going to be in Maui for 10 days in May. I was wondering if interisland flights were cheap enough would it be worth it to go to another island for a day, perhaps Ohau?
My husband and I have been to Ohau before but our kids (19, 24 ) haven%26#39;t.
Trying to decide whether it%26#39;s worth a day trip to another island, and if so if Ohau is a good selection. I would only consider it if flights were very cheap.
Any thoughts.
Day Trip to another Island
Right now there are flights through the end of February for as cheap as $19 one way. With the airfare war, flights have really been cheap.
The first deadline to purchase tickets was in April for flights between June %26amp; September.
Both the dates to purchase the tickets and the fly by dates have been extended several times. I think this will continue for some time.
You can probably reserve something now for May for $39 - $59, but if you wait, the rates will probably go down.
Cheapest rates will be on first flight out %26amp; last flight back, Monday through Friday.
Keep watching this forum. As soon as new info comes in, someone will post the new rates %26amp; dates to purchase by %26amp; fly by.
