Activities for One on Maui?

I may be spending some of the time on Maui by myself. Besides laying on the beach (which I will enjoy), can anyone suggest any sights or activities for one? I have never been to Maui, I would like to sightsee and take loads of pictures. I would like to try snorkeling but not so sure by myself?

The Road to Hana and Haleakala%26#39;s Summit%26#39;s should be on your list for sure.

I can%26#39;t say why, but I drove the RTH one day by myself several years ago and the journey was sort of a defining moment for me. I ended up moving to the islands after that trip. I was single then; but by my next visit to Maui I was married. Funny what you can discover about yourself in Hawaii, especially when alone. For me it was Waikamoi Forest on the Road to Hana.

Activities for One on Maui?

I went to Maui solo last year. I went to a luau - met a very nice family there. I went snorkeling with Trilogy, and had a great time. Of course, I would recommend driving the Road to Hana - it was somehow peaceful driving it alone.

I%26#39;m leaving in 4 days - this time with a friend. A totally different experience, but I wouldn%26#39;t trade my first time in Maui solo.

We did the Paragon Snorkel Trip to Lanai and really liked it. This would be very comfortable for a single person because of the small size of the group. The guys on the boat would be great for helping a first time snorkeler. Check them out. Have fun.
