Noticed there was an archived post on weather in Lanai in January, but can%26#39;t seem to find it. Could anyone tell me what to expect? It%26#39;s our honeymoon and I%26#39;m a bit nervous that it will be too chilly?
Weather in January?
You can relax, we always go in December or January and it is always plenty warm. Here is a copy of what I just wrote on a different Lana%26#39;i post:
Yes, January is a wonderful time to go. Down at Manele Bay they get less than 8 inches of rain a year (about the same as Phoenix). Lana%26#39;i is in the rain shadow of Haleakala on Maui, plus the leeward side of Lana%26#39;i (Manele Bay) has more of the rain held up in the upcountry around the Lodge (where they get about 40'; of rain a year). Highs are in the low 80%26#39;s and lows in the upper 60%26#39;s down at the beach and 5-10 degrees cooler at the Lodge depending on how sunny it is.
Weather in January?
Well, you officially just swayed the decision on our honeymoon plans. Here we come Lana%26#39;i! Thanks so much for your post!
Yea! I am excited for you. You will love Lana%26#39;i. Be sure to post a trip report when you get back and settled. Congrats!

If you are there in January we might run into you. We will be there then for our wedding anniversary. After all it is a small island.
