Maui Motorcycle Rental - Advise Sought

Hi All

We are off to Maui at the end of October - still trying to find an affordable place to stay - but more importantly - any advise on Harley Rentals? I saw one review on Hula Hogs and it wasn%26#39;t good -any others you would recommend?

I%26#39;ve done the Road to Hana in a jeep - we thought a bike might be a great way to go

Thanks

MJ

I honestly don%26#39;t remember where I found this on Trip advisor - but this is what someone said about their experience:

';.....Traveler%26#39;s tip on recreational activities

Bikers, beware of Hula Hogs. We rented a bike from them and THEY got the dates wrong. We only had the bike for half a day and he still charged us for a full day. And the bikes are poorly maintained. A handlegrip slid off the bike going up the mountain highway! There are better places with newer bikes and better attitudes. Go early, the wind blows so hard through the central part of the island that you spend the whole time just hanging on. What a place to ride though.....';

The person never said where was better to rent - so I was hoping someone on here could advise. We were thinking of renting here too

Hey,

Also, just remember there really isn%26#39;t anywhere you can%26#39;t open up and let it rip on Maui. Speeds are usually slow, lots of vehicles everywhere and lots of curves. (Well, not lots of vehicles if you get up at 3 am and go out I guess.)
