Rennovations at the Sheraton Maui 09/05 - 10/15...

Hello,

I am due to stay at the Sheraton Maui during the pool renovations...

My wife and i are a little concerned about how these rennovations will impact our holiday...

Is anyone staying there just now or just returned who would be able to detail the extent and impact of the rennovations....

I%26#39;ve contacted my travel agent and the hotel directly however i have yet to receive a response from either....

We are due to arrive on 9/30 for a 14 day stay. This is the first I have heard about a pool renovation. I will chek out the website. For both our sakes and our travel companions, I hope it wont be too bad.

I am very excited about the trip and have planned multiple excursions, activities and trips.

The renovations will still be taking place while you%26#39;re there, but only on half the pool. The Sheraton says the noise will be minimal (a low hum, I think was what they said) and they won%26#39;t be giving out rooms in any arean that would be close enough to it to be effected by it.

You should be okay.

My travel agent brought it to my attention last week when I made my final payment for the trip, and asked if I wanted to look at substitute resorts, but I declined. As I said, they%26#39;re supposed to be done by the time I get there, and even if they aren%26#39;t quite finished, it doesn%26#39;t sound like it%26#39;s going to be a huge inconvenience.

Back from my honeynmoon!

The Sheraton Maui is a wonderful resort.

During our stay about half the pool was closed however this did not really impact on our enjoyment of the resort / pool area.

We arrive to the Sheraton on the 14th of October. Previously, there was a discosure on the Sheraton site about the pool work, but now it%26#39;s gone. I phoned the resort today, and they said all renovations are now to be completed by October 1st.
