Helicopter Tour - Complete Island Tour or West Maui/Molokai

HI Again,

I am in total planning mode, so please indulge me.

I will be in Maui in late October and wanted to book a helicopter tour. I am considering Blue Hawaiian for the following tours:

Complete Island

Hana/Haleakala

West Maui/Molokai

I am travelling with my dh, 4 1/2 year old son, and 64 y/o mother-in-law. Our hiking of the crater will be limited on this trip because of our varying athletic abilities. We are planning a road trip to Hana.

Helicopter Tour - Complete Island Tour or West Maui/Molokai

We will be leaving for our trip in 9 days and will be in Hawaii for 12 days. We will be spliting our trip between Oahu and Maui and during our trip to Maui we booked the Complete Island tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. They discount you for booking online and we saved $130 doing so. It will be myself my wife and our 2 year old. He could have been free but would have had to sit on our lap and I knew that wouldnt work out at all ebcause he would try to stand up. So we shelled out the $220 to have him in his own car seat secured between us.

Total price of the Complete Island tour of Maui was $780.00

I have done all of the above tours. I would recommend the West Maui/Molokai tour for you, especially due to the fact you will be driving to Hana. The sea cliffs you will see on the back side of Molokai are spectacular!

Thanks for the information. My dh and I may compromise and do this tour. It sounds amazing and I will definetly check booking online.

Thanks for the recommendation. Based upon my review of this forum, I would like to do the West tour. However, my dh wants more of the crater? We are still discussing.
