Hilton Waikoloa Village

I was able to get 7 nights at the Hilton Waikoloa Village for $136/night on Priceline. Has anyone had experience with Priceline and this hotel as to which tower they might put me in? I%26#39;m expecting that we%26#39;ll get a garden view room, but at that price, I can%26#39;t complain!

thats an Awesome price, congratulations. I wish I could priceline it but I cant risk not getting the hilton. I know from priceline experience they can put you wherever they chose, however most hotels will try to honor specific requests for room location, number of beds, smoking, etc. If I were you I would first try and figure out which building , floor etc. you would like, then sign up for hilton honors at their website. Then call the hotel directly, tell them your honor number and make your requests. Being super nice usually works. good luck. Maggie

Hilton Waikoloa Village

For Waikola Hilton, Only bad spot is the ocean towers (three circles) the furthest circle in from ocean. The restuarant is there and smells are constant. In morning birds seem to move up the trees and fly out? anyway the squaking starts before sunrise. One would think the birds are coming. Garden views can be in front or behind on differing levels as well. Center of the big complex u is where most action is and therefore noise. Elevators are all around and fast enough. You may want to be at least 4th floor up. They now charge to park your own car $7/day with valet $14. Stray cats all around parking lot but don%26#39;t bother you. Best to send luggage in at drop off just as you approach bldg right side of entrance and pick up there when leaving give more than hour notice and if you ask they will weigh your luggage for you just after picking up and on the way out. They don%26#39;t offer as much as other places for time share talks. What means most to you the lagoon beach, kid pools, adult pool, water slide, hot tub, dolphins, restaurants, lounges, but wait isn%26#39;t the village that part over by the golf course and shopping mall. Condos away from main complex? They have garden views and mountain views if you plan on spending alot of time in room otherwise there is alot to enjoy even health club. fastest way to room if busy is walking followed by elec tram then boats.

For us we loved the Ocean towers but we had a deluxe ocean view room. It was perfect for us.

Even if assigned something when you get there you can ask for something else.

I also booked this resort thru Priceline and will be there starting Oct 6. I called them direct to request a refrigerator, no smoking, etc. The reservation agent commented that my reservation was tied to the Palace Tower. During my talk with them, she didn%26#39;t seem to know which service I used to book this, but it was clear that she knew it was from some opaque site.

You might ask them how booked up they are that week, which would give you some sense of your chances for selecting the tower you want or an upgrade (especially if you%26#39;re a Hilton Honors member at a high award level). I checked the Hilton reservations website for the dates that I%26#39;m traveling. They have something called the ';Net Direct'; rate (prepay stay). When I%26#39;m there the rate is $189/night. Comparing that to other weeks, that is a lower rate, which tells me that the hotel is lightly booked for my stay.

By the way, congratulations. From another board postings, your rate was the lowest that I%26#39;ve seen.
