We are going to the Kona area for two months in Nov and Dec. To rent baby stuff will cost more than buying new - does anyone have any idea if there is a used baby store in the area - like Once upon a child? Is there any where to get ahold of a phone book for the area?
Thanks!

Don%26#39;t know much about baby stuff, but you can get the Oahu/Maui/Kauai/Hawaii Paradise Yellow Pages on a CD (1-800-489-8230)

You aren%26#39;t going to find anything like Once Upon a Child here. The island is too small. Finding used baby stuff could be very time consuming to say the least unless you wanted to hit all the garage sales and thrift stores for weeks on end. You can buy what you need at WalMart and Target for reasonable prices, some even less than the mainland. Not exactly sure what you need. Check the phone book or yellow pages but be aware the book will cover the whole island and not just Kona so you might find what you need but discover it is 3 hrs away. Maybe someone else knows of a store in Kona.
two months must mean job related and would not want to gone that long without them. There is a Costco on island as well. Found Kmart to be cheaper than walmart and kmart is now in sears family so be sure to check to see if sears would deliver to kmart?

You get one Target store on Big Island?
Sure, you target Wal*Mart or K-Mart. :)
