That should help some :)

Weather in April

Thanks pelekai as we are going to Maui next April also. Just cannot wait !

April and May are my favorite months to travel over to Maui. Not to hot, weather%26#39;s nice, and it%26#39;s not too crowded bc summer rush hasn%26#39;t started yet and most kids are still in school.

I%26#39;d say April is a excellent choice :)

Benn there three times in April. Weather has been great and not huge crowds.

I have to say April is my favorite time to visit the islands. I%26#39;ve done that twice and once in September. It%26#39;s not as crowded and not as hot as the summer months. I think they consider April and May part of the ';shoulder'; season so the rates will be cheaper too!

Enjoy!

We%26#39;ll be able to lay an the beach, snorkel, etc?

April, May and November are some of my favorite times. They are all in low season, so you should get good value. South Maui will be less rainy and dryer than West Maui, but both should be fine. If you are going to be snorkeling for long periods, you may want a short wetsuit.

So, what%26#39;s the bob19reg7? Score for what? (You must be Bob, eh?)

Here is link I just posted to another thread. It gives you the last years weather numbers from a weather station in Kahana (West Maui).

When it comes to snorkeling I wouldn%26#39;t let the rain stop me. Getting wet isn%26#39;t a big problem snorkeling. lol The one thing I would suggest though if it does rain is to stay away from stream outlets such as in Honolua bay if it%26#39;s raining since it can cloud the water bad and the flush of fresh water pushes out the fish. I think it%26#39;s mostly the the Northern area bays that have stream inlets into them. Rain in the islands is considered a blessing and besides it helps wash the salt water off the snorkel gear and you don%26#39;t have to use as much of the islands precious fresh water supply.

Congrats, and I hope your honeymoon is awesome.
